Campus Society

Campus Society is an online community designed to help university students connect, collaborate, and share knowledge throughout their academic journey, while also fostering connections even before they step on campus. A major milestone was our partnership with UCAS (a central organisation in the UK that manages applications to universities and colleges), which significantly boosted user acquisition among prospective students. My work encompassed leading the design of the mobile native app, the responsive web platform, and the overall design system.

The redesign process began with a thorough discovery phase, where we conducted user journey mapping and heuristic analysis to identify core issues and uncover opportunities for enhancement within the existing platform. This was followed by user interviews and focus groups, which were instrumental in validating initial assumptions and ensuring that the design direction aligned with user needs. With these insights, the focus shifted to refining the navigation system, simplifying features, and enhancing the design system and UI. The goal was to create a more intuitive and user-friendly experience, allowing students to navigate the platform effortlessly and fully engage with its offerings.
