One Klarna is a strategic initiative focused on standardizing and enhancing Klarna's purchase experience globally. The project aimed to unify all available payment options within a single, streamlined Klarna payment experience. By reimagining the design and UI alongside this product optimization, simplify the user journey and enable faster expansion into new regions. This standardisation was essential for supporting Klarna's growing product offerings and ensuring a consistent, scalable user experience across different markets.
As the lead designer for the One Klarna initiative, I was responsible for overseeing the rollout of the new, standardised purchase flow across various markets. My role involved coordinating communication between multiple teams, optimizing features based on user testing and feedback, and ensuring the design was systematically aligned with the broader design system. I also led workshops to refine design details, addressed edge cases, and managed the transition to ensure the product was legally compliant and scalable for global implementation.
